My sexual abuse started at the age of five and continued until I found courage to tell the police at age 17. As a result of the abuse, I now have PTSD, depression and anxiety. I was lucky enough to discover Trihope and their support group only a year and a half after I told and was able to benefit greatly from it. I met some wonderful ladies who had gone through similar circumstances and was able to connect and heal along with them. I now have lasting friendships with these ladies and am so happy to have had an organization like Trihope to benefit from. All survivors need something like this!
